Here's the mistake that kills most people's recovery: requesting removal before fixing the problem. Spamhaus will relist you within hours if you do this. I've seen it happen.
The most common causes, in order of frequency:
- Sending to a spam trap โ old, invalid, or purchased list addresses

- No or broken authentication โ missing SPF, DKIM, or DMARC

SpamCop

UCEPROTECT-1
Controversial take: UCEPROTECT is largely ignored by major ISPs. Gmail and Outlook don't reference it. I didn't bother requesting removal. Saved myself the time.
